Girls Inc. of Worcester welcomes all 7th and 8th grade girls to our annual Career Day on Wednesday, April 24, 2013. At this free event, girls can discover their futures by meeting successful, inspirational women who work in a variety of rewarding professions.
A volunteer networking event will be held from 3:30pm to 4:00pm and the girls will have the opportunity to go to our Career Fair from 4:00pm to 5:30pm. This event enables the girls to learn about what they want to do in the future by learning from people in the field, and allows the volunteers to give back to their community, explaining how they become the successful women that they are today. Volunteers range from lawyers to doctors to cosmetologists.

"If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more, you are a leader!" We invite you to participate in this event, giving back to the girls while networking with other volunteers. We ask that you fill out a Volunteer Bio Form, where you can briefly explain your job title and place of employment. The Volunteer Bio Form also explains more about the setup and types of questions you could be asked by the girls!
