Today's featured awardee is Elizabeth (Lizie) Torteson with the 2020 Vanessa T. Marcotte Award.
Thanks to the Vanessa T. Marcotte Foundation, who is fighting for a world where women live boldly and fearlessly, we give this award in memory of Vanessa to a Girls Inc. member who has shown strength through adversity. Lizie, a current Eureka! member, has grown through Girls Inc. programming. She has shown resilience and perseverance through adversity, and has become a confident leader. Congratulations, Lizie!
