Girls Incorporated of Worcester will hold its 93rd Annual Business Meeting on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 from 5:00-7:00 pm, at Alden Hall - 125 Providence Street, Worcester. Cathi Coridan, Executive Director, will be highlighting our new drop in program model that provides the most flexibility and access for the largest number of girls in the Worcester community. Registration and hors d’oeuvres will begin at 5:00 pm followed by a brief business meeting to include the announcement of new board members and our keynote speaker, Deborah Penta.
Girls Incorporated of Worcester is a non-profit organization that was founded as the Worcester Girls Club in 1916. For 93 years it has continually evolved to meet the changing needs of girls in our community. Girls Inc. is dedicated to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold by offering quality research-based programs in a safe environment and providing opportunities for girls to take healthy risks, build leadership skills and master physical, intellectual, social and emotional challenges.
