Friday, March 7, 2025

We are thrilled to announce that, effective May 1, 2025, the Girls Inc. of Worcester After-School Program will be officially licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC). This milestone reflects our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of care and programming for your children.

Benefits of EEC Licensure:

Access to Child Care Vouchers: Eligible families may now apply for childcare financial assistance through state-issued vouchers, making our programs more accessible. We will be accepting vouchers through Seven Hills Foundation. To determine if you qualify based on income and to begin the application process, please call Mass 211 by dialing 211.

Enhanced Standard of Care: EEC licensure ensures that our program meets comprehensive state standards, including staff training, safety protocols, and curriculum improvements, all designed to support your child's learning and development.

Expanded Curriculum & Program Offerings: As part of our licensure process, we are increasing the quality of our curriculum and participant programming, offering more engaging activities, skill-building opportunities, and structured support to help every girl thrive.

Tuition Adjustments:

To align with the enhanced quality standards associated with EEC licensure and to remain competitive among childcare programs in our community, we will be adjusting our tuition rates as follows:

Effective May 1, 2025: The daily tuition rate for the After-School Program will increase to $18 per day.

Effective September 1, 2025: The daily tuition rate will adjust to $24 day.

Summer Camp rates will remain at $250 per week.

We understand that tuition adjustments impact family budgets, and we are committed to supporting you through this transition. Additionally, we will provide payment plans, monthly payment options and our team is available to answer questions and assist you in exploring financial assistance options, including the newly available childcare vouchers through Seven Hills Foundation. For ease, we are attaching all application forms and will have them available in person as well. Please contact Kenia Sanchez for a financial Aide application questions at .
